What you should expect...

  • A Caring Church Family...

    • We want your experience at our service to be comfortable and enjoyable. We have people in place to make you feel welcomed to our service and to answer any questions you may have.  Plan to come a few minutes early so we can ensure that your family's needs are met.

  • A Clean, Safe Children's Ministry...

    • We have well-qualified, friendly ladies staffing our nursery during each service.  For those with children 3 years old and younger, we encourage you to take advantage of the nursery.

    • During the Sunday morning service, our church provides a Children's Church class for children aged 4-12.  This class is conducted by an adult team of our trained church members.  The children will enjoy singing, Bible teaching, and activities on their level.

    • During the Wednesday evening service, children 4-12 can attend a children's program while the adults and teenagers hold a Bible study and prayer time.

  • A TRADITIONAL SERVICE...

    • Each service is unique and carefully planned to be a blessing to every person who attends.  We have traditional-style church services. Our services will include congregational music, and often an uplifting special song from a church member.  Our services will also feature a Bible message from our pastor that will be helpful and relevant.  Another important part of our worship services is prayer.

    • We will also take an offering during every service, as it is a time to worship the Lord through giving.

    • The service closes with an invitation to pray and respond to the Lord's leading.  Some will come to the altar to pray, and others will make important spiritual decisions at this time.  Occasionally, this time will be followed by a baptism or a public presentation of a decision made in that service.

    • We do not have a "dress code" at our church.  Our pastor and male leaders will be dressed in a shirt and tie, and often, a suit coat.  The lady workers will be dressed in skirts and dresses.  Don't let that make you uncomfortable.  We simply want to look professional and presentable while we serve God's people.

 Open House Sunday 2025

November 2nd, 11am

Our church is celebrating 10 years of serving the Lord in Georgetown! On November 1, 2015, Providence Baptist Church held its very first service. Ten years later, God has immensely blessed our church! This special service will commemorate the past decade of God’s goodness to our church family. All are invited to attend!

During the church service, we will…

  • lift up our voices in praise to our God

  • humble our hearts in prayer

  • give honor to whom honor is due

  • be challenged with a message from the Word of God.

After the service,

  • the church will be providing a BBQ meal in our fellowship hall

  • give commemorative gifts for each in attendance

  • have some fun activities and treats for families and children
